Who am I

My Introduction

It feels great, happy, and enthusiastic in presenting this introductory blog to all my readers, patients, friends, and well-wishers. I am Dr. Umar Farooque Khan, serving my utmost skill sets in the field of chiropractic and modern physiotherapy.

I am a diligent physiotherapist having great work experience of more than 17 years, where I contributed wellness to thousands of patients and trained hundreds of physiotherapists. I completed my graduation from D Y Patil College of Physiotherapy, Pune, in 2005. Furthermore, I earned the MPT from Florence College of Physiotherapy, Bangalore (Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences).

After the glorious days of education, I commenced my professional journey at the renowned Deenanath Mangeshkar Hospital, Pune, in 2005. Since the year 2007, I have been the founder member and HoD at the NobleHospital Physiotherapy Department, Pune. Apart, I have headed the Physiotherapy department at Vinayak hospital, Pune, since 2012.  I have been a helping hand in establishing quality physiotherapy departments at many hospitals, such as Kohakade Hospital, Sarvat Hospital, and National Hospital.

My Accomplishments

During my practice, I have been persistent in earning knowledge and upgrading my skillsets through various certifications, conferences, seminars, and CMEs. I have successfully completed MSc in Osteopathy from Jagannath University and a Diplomate of Osteopathy from Ontario, Canada.

Additionally, I gained a master’s diploma in Chiropractic from the well-known Ackerman institute in Sweden under the guidance of Dr. Paul Ackerman and Dr. Andrew Koff.

To gain skills in DNS, I earned a certificate course from Prague.

I improved my clinical skills with the Pune Shoulder Rehab Program- run by the renowned Dr. Babhulkar.

My Academy

I have been always striving to provide the best possible services with a perfect blend of all the modern physio practices along with chiropractic and osteopathy. To spread, whatever I gain as a thing of knowledge, I have developed and designed a unique concept called Integrated Manual therapy, where I clubbed many techniques of manipulation and mobilization. 

To transform the young physios into entrepreneurs, I run an institution – Dr Farooque Academy where I conduct some special trainings for a comprehensive approach towards the field.

Vote of Thanks

I am very fortunate to be referred as one of the best modern physios in the town and periphery. However, I could not go ahead without thanking to the stalwarts, gurus, friends, and colleagues who structured me to be ‘Dr Farooque’.

My Vision

I am a patient’s doctor, a youngsters’ helping hand, and a stepping stone for upcoming entrepreneurs in the field of modern physiotherapy. 

For the service, I conduct a modern approach with the chiro, physio, DNS, and preventive healthcare.

I would like to serve society with all my modest efforts and continuing patient education!
